Friday, March 17 at the Marina at Edison Ford located at 2360 West 1st Street in downtown Fort Myers.
The evening features dockside cocktails, a buffet dinner and a dessert reception outside in the beautiful coconut grove on the Edison Estate at sunset!
The top three bands will advance to the The Battle of the Bands Final Competition to be held at the Reading Festival Saturday, March 18, 2017, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Reading Rocks! Contest is only open to bands of two or more individuals who are residents of Charlotte, Lee, Collier and Hendry counties and are between the ages of 13 to 19 years old on the date of entry.

Students from all Lee County-based schools, grades K-12, were eligible to enter.
Each grade level was judged separately. There is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each category if there are enough excellent submissions. All winners receive ribbons; this year first, second, and third place winners receive book store gift cards. Five overall level winners will be chosen to receive an additional gift card.
